Frozen Coffee Smoothie


Summertime is here and so is the "need" for delicious cold drinks. However, most of those coffee indulgences come loaded with sugar and calories. So, I got the blender out this morning and began my quest to satisfy my frozen coffee craving without the guilt. Mission accomplished! I loved this new smoothie so much that I just had to share I with you! This is packed with plant based protein and can even serve as a meal replacement. How does it get better than that? Well, except that this smoothie also has healthy fats and omegas too!


Your smoothie will only be as good as the protein powder that you choose. I have tried about every protein powder there is and I keep coming back to my all time favorite, Orgain Organic Vanilla Protein Powder. 




For the smoothie you will need:


1/4 cup organic canned coconut milk

2 cups of ice

1 cup brewed coffee, cooled ( I use organic decaf)

2 scoops of Orgain Vanilla Protein Powder

2 tbsp of flax, chia, or hemp seeds (optional)


Blend it all up and Enjoy!
